Clubs SA is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1919 and is the only industry body representing the interests of Licensed Clubs across South Australia. Clubs SA is a member of the National body, Clubs Australia.
Clubs SA’s membership comprises over 430 not-for-profit sporting, recreation, social and community licensed Clubs across the state ranging in size and demographic. Each conducting business for the active support and promotion of sport and community across South Australia.
Community clubs in South Australia employ over 19,800 people, return over $918 million in social contributions, with 39,000 volunteers, plus donating $10m in cash & in kind donations to the wider South Australian community. Clubs SA provides ongoing advice and services to its members on liquor licensing, compliance, governance, workplace health & safety, training & development, workplace relations, including the most up to date information that confront our industry.

Club Development Program
The Club Development Program is an initiative of Clubs SA designed to improve and develop the governance and leadership of licensed and unlicensed Clubs throughout South Australia. The training modules include Governance, Meetings, Sponsorship, Finance, Grant Writing, Facility Management, Cybersecurity and much more.
Advocacy
As a Clubs SA member your voice is heard by government at all levels. Your membership ensures that your club has a seat at the table, both at state and through Clubs Australia at a federal level. Your club’s interests are taken into account in representations to government. You also receive exclusive insights and updates on issues affecting our industry.
