Club Managers Meeting

Clubs SA hosted the final Club Managers Meeting for 2011 at the Parafield Gardens Community Club on Wednesday 23rd of November, followed directly after by the 2011 Clubs SA AGM.  These meetings are for members of Clubs SA to gain further updates and guidance in a seminar format, allowing for questions and specific advice to be raised.

 

The topics covered at the November 2011 meeting included;

  • Club Marion's (Marion Sports & Community Club) Story
  • Liquor Licensing Update
  • What to expect when inspected by the Fairwork Ombudsman.
  • Work, Health & Safety Act  - Update
  • Why has the Para Hills Community Club been awarded "Club of the Year" five years in a row?
  • Sporting Club Income Tax Exemption
  • Industrial Relations Update
  • Gaming Legislative and MPC Update
  • First Aid Compliance

2012 will see a further two Club Managers Meetings held thorughout the year, the first in August falling in line with the 2012 Mini Expo and the 2nd again will be paired with the Clubs SA AGM.

Invitations will be sent to Clubs SA members closer to the dates of these coming meetings.
