This free Members Only seminar will address 3 vital facets to operating a successful Club; Governance, Operations & Marketing.  We will delve into committee and board best practice and common pitfalls to be aware of.  We will talk operations - from how to correctly determine your cost of goods and staff and how to achieve profit in a highly regulated and challenging industry.  Finally, we will approach your Club’s current online marketing strategies with fresh eyes, from socials to website, to member comms to graphic design - the image you portray of your Club on line can directly impact its success.

Evelyn O’Loughlin, CEO Volunteering SA/NT

Evelyn O’Loughlin is a highly respected leader with 25 years’ executive experience across corporate, not-for-profit and government sectors.

A passion for community and culture has led Evelyn to the not-for-profit sector where since 2008, she has been CEO of Volunteering SA/NT. 

Evelyn’s current Board and governance appointments include the Premier’s Council for Women, and Volunteering Strategy for South Australia. Her extensive experience in training NFP in Governance and Strategy will ensure an entertaining and insightful presentation

OPERATIONS

Roger Andrews, Director Roger Andrews Consulting

Roger Andrews has been heavily involved in the Hospitality industry for over 3 decades, not only in managing venues ranging from Hotels to Clubs to Restaurants, but also assisting venues to understand how to operate profitably, sustainably and viably.

Through his consultancy business, Roger now shares this expertise with businesses, and in particular Clubs, who are looking to turn around underperformance or just as importantly further  improve their operations and in particular their “bottom lines”.

MARKETING

Deb Reynolds, Director Jigsaw Marketing Solutions

Deb’s Senior Management roles across the hospitality and not-for-profit sectors have armed her with a unique insight into the world of online marketing, in particular member based communications.

Deb was responsible for increasing Zoos SA membership from 25,000 to over 40,000 in less than 4 years attributing this success to thinking outside the box and approaching new strategies holistically.  Deb now shares her knowledge with a number of small businesses and Clubs through her own business, Jigsaw Marketing Solutions
