Regional Meeting Murray Bridge
Each year, Clubs SA travels to the regions of South Australia providing free information seminars on issues relating to the Licensed Club industry.
We have kicked off our first for 2020 with a great turn out at the wonderful RSL Murray Bridge.
Topics discussed on the night included club governance, risk assessment & management plans, tips and tricks of grant applications and of course the latest in liquor legislation.
These meetings provide a great opportunity for Members to ask questions and seek advice. They will continue around the state until September. Check HERE for dates and venues
*** As a result of the precautionary measures relating to the Coronavirus (COVID -19), Regional Meetings have been postponed until further notice. We shall keep you updated as soon as we have further news. Thank you for your understanding***.
A big thank you to our hosts June, Rod and Bob (pictured) who looked after us so nicely.
Bob was not only the bar man on the night; he is also on the committee and is the museum curator. The club's museum is one of the best we have visited.and it boasts a replica of the Germany's flying ace of World War One, the Red Baron's aircraft.
This has been meticulously re-assembled by a team of dedicated RSL members and is a most impressive sight!
It will form part of an interactive & educational display to interpret the role Australian service personnel played during WW1.
