COMMUNITY AWARD | Improvement & Initiative
Since its humble beginnings in 1933, the South Australian Bridge Association (SABA) has grown to become one of the largest and most successful Clubs in Australia and, as such, can offer a wide variety of services to members.
Like all Clubs, COVID has had, and continues to have an impact with numbers restricted. It closed mid-March, re-opening mid-July.
Never ones to stand still though, the Club has continued with improvements in 2020. There is now better access for those members with a disability with a chair lift installed at the rear entrance. This has been a fantastic addition allowing easier access from the car park. The Club has since increased the number of disabled parking bays from two to six.
This is just one of the initiatives that SA Bridge has implemented and why they are so deserving of a CLUBS SA COMMUNITY AWARD | Improvement & Initiative.
