The Only Bowling Pro Shop In SA
.. Modbury Bowling Club has become the first, and only, bowling club in SA to offer a Pro Shop on site.
Long time member Jose explained that until the Club opened the shop, the nearest outlet for specialised accessories and bowling equipment was an hour's drive away.
Opening just 8 weeks ago, the Pro Shop has been a resounding success. In fact, much of the stock already needs to be replenished.
It is proving popular with many bowlers and not just those from the Modbury Club but from many other local Clubs too.
This is a great initiative and following on from the addition of impressive covers over two of the greens last Winter, Modbury is providing fantastic facilities for its members and the wider bowling fraternity alike.
