The Para Hills Community Club is undergoing an exciting transformation, with Stage 1 of its ambitious redevelopment now complete and Stage 2 well underway. Designed to enhance the club experience for members and guests, the renovations are elevating Para Hills into a modern and vibrant community hub.
Stage 1: A Fresh New Look and Exciting Features
The first phase of renovations has already made a significant impact, introducing key upgrades that have been met with overwhelming enthusiasm.
“Stage 1 is part of the overall redevelopment of Para Hills Community Club. We needed to separate the build into two stages in order to continue trading,” explained General Manager Cameron Taylor.
One of the standout features is the stunning new decking area, which overlooks the playing fields in the Paddocks Environmental Precinct. “It has a real outdoor fresh-air vibe, but you’re still connected to the vision and sound that you’d be accustomed to in a licensed venue,” Taylor said.
Inside, the club has introduced a sleek, central bar that offers 22 different beverages on tap, giving members an expansive selection. A new stage area has been strategically positioned to enhance live entertainment, while the 5.2-metre by 2.6-metre high-quality LED big screen, supplied by BSV, has become a major attraction.
“We’ve had really positive feedback, mainly centred around the big screen TV and our beautiful decking area overlooking the paddocks sporting precinct. It’s a great way to spend time catching up with family and friends,” Taylor shared.

Stage 2: The Bistro Transformation
With Stage 1 complete, the focus has shifted to the renovation of the Bistro, set to be unveiled in just five weeks.
“Our Bistro is the centre of Stage 2,” Taylor said. “It will feature new furniture and provide diners with an outdoor alfresco dining experience, as well as an improved children’s playroom.”
The upgraded Bistro will become a focal point for family dining, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable space for all generations to enjoy. “We believe it will create a meaningful family dining experience,” Taylor added.

While managing operations during construction has been a challenge, the club is eager to see the final results. “There has been significant disruption, and we welcome the end to that. Soon, our members can come in without secondary building noise and access the car park without trades in that space. I think there will be a satisfaction to all members that it is complete and able to service all their needs,” Taylor said.
A Community Hub for the Future
Beyond just aesthetic and functional upgrades, these renovations align with the club’s long-term vision to strengthen community connections and enhance partnerships with local sporting clubs. “We believe the renovations will provide us with a venue that will have increased appeal to all aspects of people living in and around the Para Hills area,” Taylor said.
Importantly, the entire redevelopment is fully funded by the Para Hills Community Club, demonstrating its commitment to growth and improvement.
