Peter Hill, Director of the Perks Audit division and Board member for Clubs SA, works closely with his fellow Perks Directors to bring a complete solution to clients with accounting, audit, business consulting, bookkeeping, finance, tax, insurance and wealth management advice, all within the one firm.
Peter’s strong expertise in the area of external audit, has been built on over 30 years of local and international experience, with a particular focus on his existing client base of Clubs, as well as the wider hospitality industry.
Peter sees the Audit process as an opportunity to provide confidence and “peace of mind” to members and management that their figures accurately reflect the results of the Club’s operations and its financial standing. In addition, it helps to highlight where there are break-downs in governance and any issues with internal control processes. The observations and recommendations can be of substantial benefit to a Club in today’s environment where fraud and error are occurring with greater frequency, in particular risks surrounding cash handling, EFT payments and inventory controls.
